We were discussing how things change and how sometimes we, as church leaders (i.e. humans) focus too much on our "master plans" and not the "Master's Plan." BOOM! Right between the eyes. What a different in the meaning of the same words, just move the "s" from one word to the other.

We should view money not as a necessary evil to be reckoned with but as a partner for ministry. No ministry thrives without needed resources. If ministry is the vehicle for accomplishing our mission, financial resources are the fuel.

If it’s all about Jesus, then it simply can’t be about us. If we’re all working towards a common goal, then it will set us on a path of unity in our direction. Otherwise, we will have placed ourselves on a higher pedestal then God Himself. Effectiveness comes when we realize that we have to take our passions and our talent out of the context of us and put it in the context of others and the ultimate goal of reaching people for Christ.

I would argue that if a church is considering a church construction/expansion/tenant improvement project, that they look for an expert Integrated Project Developer.
